Collecting data (zero-party & first-party). Mapping voter profiles and identifying swing voters. Using AI for sentiment analysis of public mood online.
Automating electoral funnels
Designing supporter-engagement paths (from ad impression, through newsletter sign-up, to donation and turnout). Applying lead nurturing in politics.
Micro-targeting & dark ads
How advertising algorithms work (Meta, Google, TikTok). Crafting messages tailored to narrow demographics. Tools for optimizing campaign costs.
AI in the campaign team
Generative AI (LLMs) for political copywriting (speeches, posts, newsletters). Using AI to analyze opponents' strategies (OSINT and basic web scraping).
Ethics, law and the limits of manipulation
Legal aspects of voter profiling (GDPR in campaigns). Recognizing and countering disinformation. The line between data-driven persuasion and algorithmic manipulation (e.g. astroturfing).
