Designing an interface that nods to aesthetics while remaining functional and posing a tough challenge for Front-End Developer candidates.
Project context
has inspired developers for decades. Droids, holograms, artificial intelligence and space travel are elements that have found their way into real technologies. The project uses this iconic aesthetic as the foundation of a modern design system.
The recruitment challenge
The task required building an interface that tests candidates' skills in advanced CSS, animation and design-system implementation. The sci-fi aesthetic had to go hand in hand with functionality.
